Liverpool - Rekrutan anyar Liverpool, Virgil van Dijk mengatakan bahwa dirinya senang dan merasa terhormat usai merampungkan kepindahan dari Southampton menuju klub impiannya, The Reds.
Van Dijk resmi akan berseragam Liverpool per 1 Januari 2018 mendatang usai klub asal Merseyde sepakat membayar tebusan sebesar 75 juta poundsterling.
Kesepakatan tersebut sekaligus mengakhiri perburuan Liverpool terhadap bek berusia 26 tahun tersebut yang sempat menemui jalan buntu pada musim panas lalu. Pemain asal Belanda Belanda tersebut mengaku tak sabar segera bergabung dengan tim besutan Jurgen Klopp.
